JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems Analyst/Programmer plays a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and improving the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Using a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise, this role involves performing in-depth analysis of major company activities and functions, providing actionable insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop efficient business solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and conduct comprehensive analyses of business activities and functions to identify opportunities for improvement or enhancement within the ERP system.
Design and implement system solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Perform non-standard procedures to evaluate information, methods, systems, and workflows, recommending optimized solutions to senior IT management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units and IT, to gather requirements, develop use cases, and ensure project objectives are met.
Guide and train less experienced analysts as needed on project-specific tasks or methodologies.
Develop documentation, including system design specifications, user manuals, and process guidelines, to support ERP implementation and maintenance.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ERP-related initiatives, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system performance and reliability.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the company’s business processes.
Train employees on the ERP system and address complaints and resolve problems related to the ERP system.
Performs other duties as requested to support the success of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar field. 3+ years of related experience in business analysis, systems design, or programming; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems and their implementation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in analyzing complex business problems and delivering practical, data-driven solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technology/Equipment:
Experience with specific ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Infor Syteline, Microsoft Dynamics).
Knowledge of programming languages and tools commonly used in ERP systems (e.g. SQL, Java, .Net, Python, ABAP).
Familiarity with database management, reporting tools, and system integration concepts.
Leadership capabilities to guide junior analysts and project team members.
