POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED The Systems Analyst will provide technical expertise, maintenance, and support for the College's administrative data processing systems. They design, program, implement, update, and maintain new and upgraded application programs and integrations. This position assists and collaborates with stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination while overseeing the integration with other systems. Additionally, the Systems Analyst coordinates with the Administrative Systems team and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations. This position receives general direction from the Manager of Administrative Systems and exercises no supervision. NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position. SELECTION CRITERIA: The cover letter should address how the following knowledge, skills, and abilities were acquired: Knowledge of: 1. Software development lifecycle; 2. Database theory; 3. Programming logic; 4. Operating system concepts; 5. Version control; 6. Business process analysis; 7. MVC (Model/View/Controller); 8. OOP (Object Oriented Programming); 9. Domain driven design; Skills in: 10. .Net programming; 11. Programming languages used, such as C#, UniData, HTML5, UniQuery, Envision Basic, JavaScript, CSS, Perl, Java, C++, PHP, SQL, BASH/KSH Scripting; 12. Utilizing integrated development environments (Colleague, Studio, Visual, Studio); 13. Version control with GIT; 14. Microsoft Office Suites; 15. Adobe software; 16. Informer; Ability to: 17. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; 18. Plan, prioritize, and multitask assignments; 19. Understand complex concepts and apply logical solutions; 20. Work independently and as a team member; 21. Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; WORKING CONDITIONS: Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent training in information technology Experience: Three or more years of work experience in information technology Please feel free to contact this office regarding the status of your application.
