The Job!

This role is responsible to work with and support the Partner, Finance Systems with the maintenance and configuration of Finance Systems: Prophix, Great Plains, Concur and the future ERP, and acts as the secondary point of contact for system providers, maintains accounts, users and roles within the systems. As the System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting of the current Finance Systems and support the Lead, Finance Systems to customize and build out the capabilities of Finance Systems to meet the Foundation’s needs. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Administer and configure finance systems, primarily Workday ERP, including troubleshooting, access/role management, and business process support.
  • Manage incoming technical requests through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution in line with service targets.
  • Support data and reporting needs, including historical information from legacy systems such as MS Dynamics GP, Concur, and Prophix.
  • Assist in enforcing process compliance by guiding users toward proper support channels (i.e., ticketing vs. email).
  • Contribute to system-related projects and ad hoc tasks as required.


What you bring to the job

You are someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality and responsiveness. You also come with:

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a computer-related field; CPA or PMP certifications are considered assets.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in system administration, particularly with ERP or HCM systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel), SharePoint, and reporting tools like SQL.
  • Experience with Workday (Finance and HCM modules), MS Dynamics GP, and SAP Concur preferred.
  • Familiarity with system implementations and project work is a plus.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a high level of technical problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Brings a continuous improvement mindset and customer-first approach to system support.
