Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents to return service to clients as quickly as possible.
Provide Server analysis, response, and remediation support, as needed.
Manage the impact, risk, and implementation of complex client change requests.
Communicate effectively with both management as well as client points of contact and end users.
Follow standard operating procedures as documented in the knowledge management system.
Work with the team and escalate as needed with the assistance of management.
Maintain and update system documentation and service ticket records.
Stay up to date on the latest technologies through ongoing education.
Update and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and SOP’s.
Install and configure software and hardware.
Manage servers, systems, and technology tools.
Set up accounts and workstations.
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.

Must have advanced experience with each of the following
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Active Directory, GPO, Power Shell Scripting.
Server Virtualization Nutanix, VMware, Hyper V (One or all).
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
Knowledge of Active Directory On Prem/Azure.
Ability to create and maintain PowerShell scripts.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Windows OS 2016 and Higher - Windows 10 and Higher.
Resourcefulness, Critical thinking, and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Working knowledge of patching tools.
SCCM, WSUS, to include 3rd party Package patching, Firmware and drivers, .MSI / .EXE packages.
Must be knowledgeable of
Vulnerability remediation
3rd party patching tools ex Qualys, Patch My PC, Automox
Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert (either Identity and Access or Endpoint Administrator).
Microsoft MCSE Core Infrastructure.
Education/Certifications
BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Comp TIA) is a plus.
Clearance
Tier 4 Background investigation.
Location
Remote, but local to DC metro area would be a plus, so they can go in if needed
