Summary

Green Lights Delivery Team requires a System Administrator who demonstrates a robust understanding of all the business processes and system interfaces of a system, demonstrates problem solving skills that span the application, middleware, and infrastructure levels.
 
A System Administrator is responsible for the effective installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of an organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related systems. They ensure high levels of availability and performance through regular monitoring, system updates, and proactive problem resolution.
 
The system Administrators also play a key role in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Setting up, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components of computer systems and networks.
  • User Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Security Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, attacks, and breaches.
  • Backup and Recovery: Setting up and managing backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or disasters.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Documenting system configurations, changes, and procedures. Generating reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Patch Management: Applying patches and updates to systems and software to ensure security and functionality.
  • System Upgrades and Migrations: Planning and executing system upgrades and migrations to new hardware or software versions.
  • Automation: Implementing automation tools and scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
