About the Team

System Test and Validation Team located in Bielsko-Biała, PL, is a part of global System Test organization dedicated to Steering product line. The Team is responsible for System Integration Tests (SYS.4) and System Qualification Tests (SYS.5) processes execution for the global pool of Steering projects, including Steer-by-Wire.

 

What you can look forward to as System Test & Validation Engineer (m/f/d):

• System testing for electro-mechanical steering systems (EPS) according to Automotive SPICE process;
• Analysis of technical specifications, i.e. system requirements and corresponding documentation;
• Development of test suites and test cases according to requirements;
• Reporting of the test results, including failed test results;
• Design, development and maintenance of System Test and Validation team infrastructure;
• Execution of test cases for microcontroller systems using variety of methods & tools;
• Working with tools supporting verification of embedded systems, e.g. Hardware in the Loop test environments, test execution/automation frameworks (Vector, dSPACE), modeling/simulation tools, various laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, power supplies, multimeters, etc.);
• Strong interaction and communication with engineering centers worldwide.

Your Profile as System Test & Validation Engineer (m/f/d):

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering with background in electronics, computer science, telecommunication, mechatronics, mechanics, biomedical engineering or similar;
• Understanding of electronics (incl. embedded systems, communication protocols – e.g. CAN), mechanics and any programming language (e.g. Python, C, C++ or C#) on at least basic level; 
• English language skills on at least communicative level; 
• Experience with electronics system testing - test design, system level problem investigation is an advantage; Ability to work with various laboratory tools – hardware test environments, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.; 
• Experience with automotive standards like AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 or Automotive SPICE is an advantage; 
• Good communication and teamwork skills, open communication style, attention to details.
