Role: Software Systems Engineer (TS/SCI upwards)

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE OR HIGHER (CI / FS POLY)

My client, a industry leading software company supporting global security, defense, and commercial sectors is seeking a range of cleared sytems, cloud, platform, software and devops engineers (Top Secret upwards) to work on several new programs. As long as you have a Top secret clearance or higher (SCI / CI / FS), you can start work straight away.

All applicants must be happy with being cleared up to a FS / FULL SCOPE level, you can work from day 1 whilst they put you throught this.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily operations of complex software systems, including monitoring, alerting, config management, and upgrades
• Deploy new products to field environments and lead migrations to modern infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Drive automation of manual tasks, workflows, and support operations
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (one week out of every four)

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, on-premise servers
• OS & Monitoring: Linux, CentOS, RHEL, Prometheus, Grafana
• Databases: Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra, Elasticsearch
• Automation & Scripting: Puppet, Ansible, Python, Java, Bash

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with scripting and infrastructure tools (Python, Java, Bash)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
• Effective communicator with proactive problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work autonomously in secure and dynamic environments

• Active TS/SCI clearance
