About the Role
Are you passionate about software integration and high-level control systems? Join Alten Netherlands as a System Integration Engineer and become a key member of our System Integration Team in Veghel. You will be responsible for the intake, deployment, integration, and testing of our High-Level Control (HLC) software – VIBES within the Airports Platform development program.
Our VIBES software plays a crucial role in logistical transport control, external system communication, reporting, data analysis, and simulation. As a System Integration Engineer, you will take the lead in ensuring new software deliveries and advanced features are successfully implemented within our platform integration & test environment.
Your Responsibilities
✔️ Deploy and integrate HLC software (VIBES) into the test environment
✔️ Perform system integration testing, ensuring smooth communication between components
✔️ Identify and resolve integration issues, collaborating closely with development teams
✔️ Work with logistical transport controls, reporting tools, and simulation models
✔️ Optimize system performance through data analysis and troubleshooting
✔️ Stay up to date with new features and technologies to ensure seamless integration
What You Bring
🔹 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
🔹 Experience in software integration, deployment, and system testing
🔹 Knowledge of high-level control systems and communication protocols
🔹 Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
🔹 Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
🔹 Experience in logistics, automation, or airport systems is a plus
