Responsibilities
The System Integration Engineer for Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) is responsible for integrating advanced photonic technologies into hybrid electronic systems.
Contribute to the design, post-processing, test setup, and benchtop testing of PIC-based subsystems.
Conduct architectural trade studies on systems related to wideband RF and hybrid electronic-photonic components.
Support independent research and development projects focused on photonic and RF integration.
Collaborate with senior engineers across various technical disciplines to develop and optimize high-performance photonic systems.
Requirements:
Requirements
B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of physics, optoelectronics, RF, and microwave design principles.
5+ years of hands-on integration experience with discrete and integrated components, RF, photonic devices, and systems, including RF analysis and high-performance mixed-signal systems.
Deep knowledge of complex RF and digital test equipment systems, including spectrum Analyzer, NA, oscilloscopes, and high-speed data acquisition systems.
Good communication skills with diverse teams and functional group
Proficiency in Python or C/C++ for programming and automation.
