SYSTEM ENGINEER - SOUTH HOLLAND - PERMANENT POSITION

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated System Engineer to work on multidisciplinary, high-complexity projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of system development, from early-stage requirement analysis through to integration, verification, and final delivery. You will serve as a key interface between stakeholders, customers, and internal technical teams, ensuring that system-level requirements are accurately translated into robust, functional designs.

In this position, you will be expected to manage both the technical scope and coordination of system engineering tasks across multiple domains, including hardware, software, and third-party components.

You will work closely with engineers from various disciplines to ensure that subsystems integrate seamlessly and function as intended within the broader system architecture. The projects you support will involve challenging technical constraints, requiring analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements and project specifications to inform system design.
• Define and document system architecture, including hardware, software, and commercial components.
• Contribute to project planning, resource estimation, cost analysis, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate technical meetings and discussions with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage system design documentation, including interface definitions and test plans.
• Support formal reviews and design milestones (e.g., design readiness, test readiness).
• Oversee or support system integration and configuration activities.
• Create and execute system-level test procedures.
• Provide technical input for procurement and component selection.
• Report progress and risks to project leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Optical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a systems engineering or technical coordination role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and system development.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., space systems, communication protocols, or quality standards).
• Experience with lab equipment and hands-on testing.
• Understanding of modulation, coding techniques, or signal processing.
• Background in aerospace, communications, or other complex technical industries.
