Your Responsibilities
• Install and maintain electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Manage projects, including documentation and procurement advice for hardware (network infrastructure, computers, cameras)
• Maintain and manage measurement systems onboard (troubleshooting, hotfixes)
• Develop and maintain communication protocols between ship systems (NMEA, Modbus, Canbus)
• Ensure compliance with offshore regulations and international maritime standards
• Collaborate with international teams and be flexibly available
• Provide onboard training to captains and officers
What We’re Looking For
• 7-8+ years of experience in maritime and technical sectors (HBO/MBO+ level)
• Passion for ships and offshore wind operations
• Hands-on expertise in electrical engineering and onboard systems
• Knowledge of engines, AIS, gangways, cranes, and other ship equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, proactive, and a true team player
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of IT and software optimization
• Experience with script writing and software customization
• A driver's license is required, as this role involves frequent travel
