System Engineer/ Client Manager (TAM)

A growing MSP is seeking a System Engineer/ Client Manager to strengthen client relationships and drive technology solutions that align with business goals. Specializing in Managed IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions, Compliance, and vCIO services, we empower businesses by modernizing IT infrastructures and providing innovative, tailored solutions.


As a Consultative System Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, strategic planning, and service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing position, enjoys problem-solving, and can translate technical expertise into business value.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring retention and account growth.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring optimal service delivery and increased account profitability.
  • Provide strategic IT consulting, aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns to enhance service quality.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review IT performance, forecast needs, and propose new solutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, technical business reviews (QBRs), and infrastructure assessments.
  • Develop and present technical roadmaps, improvement plans, and project proposals tailored to each client’s goals.
  • Provide hands-on systems engineering support including server management, cloud migrations (O365, Azure), network upgrades, security improvements, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in related roles).
  • Certifications in Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or similar technologies are preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in customer service or support center environments.
  • 2+ years in small business consulting or technical service delivery.
