Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Bristol, UK - 3 days in the office

Job Summary

We're looking for a Systems Engineer to define, integrate, and oversee complex system-level solutions across hardware, software, and firmware domains. This position is more software focused than hardware.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a multidisciplinary background and strong project leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document system requirements traceable to business and technical needs
• Collaborate across software, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure system integration
• Guide architecture alignment and support technical design decisions
• Develop system-level test plans, acceptance criteria, and validation strategies
• Identify risk areas early and drive mitigation efforts
• Coordinate with external partners and vendors for design validation

Requirements

• Experience in Engineering or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc.)
• A background with more of a focus on software
• Proven experience in systems engineering or interdisciplinary product development
• Strong understanding of system architecture and integration practices
• Hands-on approach with experience in requirement definition and testing
• Solid project management and cross-functional coordination skills
