Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to join our intel team. This candidate will providesupport for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operatingsystem software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with other network/platform engineers and system/application administrators. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- 15+ years of System Administrator experience
- Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5)years of additional experience may be substitutedfor a bachelor's degree for a total of 20 years
Critical Skills:
- Experience with:
- Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines
- Linux and Windows operating systems
- Scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Perl)
- OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)
- Container Technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Knowledge or skill relevant to computer operations
- Attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communications skills
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
- Experience with:
- IdAM directories (active directory and/or LDAP)
- Ticket tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker)
- Familiarity with Ansible and Mongo
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently and with a team

Salary Range: $114,000 to $164,000
