Job Description – System & Network Administrator

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Contract: Full-time, Permanent – On-site

As part of our international expansion and to support our Suadeo Cloud offering—hosted in certified French data centers—we are seeking a System & Network Administrator to join our team in Dubai.

This is a key position that will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our system and network infrastructure, while working closely with the technical teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Linux System Administration:
• Install, configure, maintain, and update physical and virtual servers
• Monitor system performance and automate recurring administrative tasks
• Handle incident management and system log analysis
• Network Infrastructure Management:
• Configure and manage internal network architecture (VLANs, routing, subnets)
• Set up and maintain Cisco switches and Fortinet firewalls
• Implement and manage VPN connections and ensure network security
• Monitoring & Supervision:
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure monitoring tools
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and alerts
• Troubleshoot and document incidents and resolutions
• Support and Troubleshooting: 
• Provide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure-related issues. 
• Participate in 24x7 support, on-call rotations and incident response. 
• Documentation & Team Collaboration:
• Write technical procedures and maintain up-to-date documentation
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and the development team
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our infrastructure processes

Required Profile

Essential Skills

• Strong expertise with Linux environments (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.)
• Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, VLANs, addressing, VPNs
• Experience with enterprise-grade network devices (Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls)
• Good knowledge of IT security and best practices

Nice-to-Have Skills (not mandatory)

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Abyx, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Basic scripting skills (bash, shell)

Soft Skills

• Independent and well-organized, with strong problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in close coordination with remote teams
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
