THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES


System Administrator / Desktop Support role focusing on the support & management of the company’s internal network, systems and cloud infrastructure, desktop computing, other internal software systems, as well as Desktop Support to end users.


Work with a collaborative and close-knit internal IT team with no ego’s and be involved in a broad role involving both BAU & project delivery.


This is a full time in-office role.


Responsibilities include:

  • Support, manage, maintain, administer, and improve on-prem infrastructure - Windows Server, Hyper-V, network switches, firewalls, WIFI, SAN storage, backups etc
  • Manage, monitor, and administer Azure cloud services, including VM’s, storage, networking, security etc.
  • Support and manage M365 tenancy.
  • Manage and deploy applications via Intune.
  • Ensure effective and up-to-date documentation.
  • Hands-on Desktop Support to end users.
  • Drive automation.
  • Delivery of IT infrastructure project including upgrades, migrations, deployments etc
  • Full time in office role.
  • Occasional travel to different sites in Sydney.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE


Suitable for a hands-on System Administrator / Desktop Support professional with on-prem and cloud experience who enjoys a broad/varied role.


Ideal for someone who wants to join a growing business, with a great team, and proactively contribute.


The following is required:

  • Proven experience with the administration & support on prem infrastructure (Windows server, VM’s, storage, networking etc).
  • Background providing in-person Desktop Support & troubleshooting to end users.
  • Competent M365 admin & support experience.
  • Automation / scripting experience is beneficial
  • Display logical technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with no ego and a willingness to learn + share knowledge.
  • Great communication skills able to deliver complex IT concepts into easy-to-understand language.
  • Patience personality with great attention to detail.
  • Own vehicle required (free parking available and reimbursed for any mileage).
  • Able to work full time in the office.



This is a full-time permanent role located in the Inner West near Strathfield that is offering circa $100,000 - $120,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
