An industry-leading company headquartered in Cleveland is seeking an SVP, Corporate Controller to lead their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present financials to executive leadership and work with multiple department heads to support key business initiatives
• Provide hands-on leadership over the accounting and corporate reporting processes
• Write, implement and ensure effective and practical implementation of corporate policies
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff; assist in developing and implementing continued training for professional accounting associates
• Liaison with the finance department, internal legal counsel, and external independent auditors
• Provide GAAP and other accounting guidance for the company, including being a resource to all operating company CFOs and Controllers

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 12 years of accounting experience
• Experience working for a public company a PLUS
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and interrelated processes
• Demonstrate excellent organization, documentation and follow through skills
