Pay: The targeted pay range for this job is $235,000 - $285,000 annually. The Senior Vice President - Chief People Officer (CPO) is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to create a culture that will deliver on Ecumen's promise of being the best place to work for those serving older adults. This position is responsible for creating an environment that empowers team members to bring their best ideas, talents and skills to a job as measured by best-in-class ratings for recruiting, retention and organizational performance. This position is also responsible for developing and executing a strategy that ensures the skill level and the right number of team members are in place to fully support Ecumen's organizational sustainability and mission growth. Essential Job Responsibilities: 1. Executive Leadership: Is a supportive and innovative voice advocating for programs that align with business goals and represent our team members' best interests. Drives long term strategic decisions and enables the growth of the business by leading a full-service people team that consists of talent, total rewards, payroll, strategic business partners, team member relations, union negotiations, overall team member engagement, HRIS, and organizational development. 2. Innovation: Introduces innovative ways to support Ecumen's strategic plan with the team members across the organization. Builds and maintains leadership strategy and practices to ensure our leaders embody engagement that supports sustainability and business performance. Innovates people services functional areas to drive team member engagement and organizational performance. 3. Decision Making: Partners with the executive team to ensure the organization is structured in a way that will enable meeting or exceeding business targets. Collects, understands and extracts insights from data to support decision making process and organizational development. 4. Develop Talent: Builds, evolves, educates and advances our talent programs. Empowers team members by developing opportunities for growth and learning to advance Ecumen's mission. Builds and develops the people team to ensure connection of key people indicators and a competency framework to career development and leadership strategies across the organization. 5. Metrics and Reporting: Analyzes and improves key performance indicators (KPI's) related to the team members across Ecumen, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, team member engagement, and overall organization performance. Leverages data analytics tools to extract insights from the data to enable decision-making. Ensures the people data is accurate and accessible to relevant stakeholders. 6. Culture and Organization Strategy Alignment: Ensures the workplace culture is aligned with Ecumen's organizational values and strategy. Provides oversight, analyzes, interprets and improves people performance and cost management for the organization to ensure meeting of business targets and financial objectives. Develops, monitors and reports monthly key people indicators and trends to the executive team and to the Board as appropriate. 7. Community Engagement: Establishes professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including team members, business partners, Ecumen's Board of Trustees, volunteers, educational institutions, and industry associations. 8. Legal and Policy Compliance: Ensures that all reporting practices comply with local, state and federal regulations, contracts, labor agreements, and Ecumen policies. Stays informed about changes in regulations, contracts, agreements and policies, and adjust reporting practices as needed. 9. Serves on Ecumen Board committees as directed by Ecumen's CEO. 10. Understands and is aware of competitive market dynamics, offerings and emerging trends & threats. 11. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, contracts, labor agreements, and Ecumen policies. Senior Vice President - Chief People Officer (CPO) Minimum Required Qualifications: ● Master's degree in Human Resources or related degree/field ● 10 years of related experience in positions of increasing management responsibilities with a solid understanding of HR functions to include systems and activities, talent management, labor relations, organizational design, change management, communication, leadership coaching, talent acquisition, performance management, engagement, compensation and benefits, and learning and development ● Demonstrated ability to establish and build positive relationships with all levels inside an organization and with a wide variety of external parties including employees, customers and their families, third party business owners, advisory boards, vendors, and community leaders ● Demonstrated ability to lead others by example, fostering collaboration with assigned work teams and across the organization to guide, direct and influence others ● Excellent communication skills ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: ● Juris Doctorate Degree (JD), Ed.D., or Ph.D. in related field
