Job Title: Surveyor
Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for the operation of a field survey crew. The major objectives include ensuring the quality of work (accuracy, thoroughness, clarity, meeting regulatory requirements, and public relations), safety, meeting schedules, staying within budgets, and providing responsive service to clients. Responsibilities include organizing fieldwork, directing crew members, maintaining a safe work environment, protecting and maintaining equipment and vehicles, accurately and efficiently collecting field data and locating features, delivering data to the office, and maintaining accurate records of work and expenses. Some overnight travel may be required. This role requires a lot of walking outside year-round through various terrains and in extreme weather conditions.

* Proficiency with survey equipment (total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* 5-6 years progressive experience in survey field operations with no less than 2 years as a survey crew chief
* CST preferred
* EFB data collection experience preferred
* Familiarity with Trimble equipment preferred
* Transportation survey experience preferred
* Good technical skills: process-oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, methodical, consistent, detail-oriented, precise, likes structure
* Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
