We can take you off-road throughout our regionally based firm. You will perform typical land surveying-related work, including construction staking, cadastral, boundary, ALTA, and topography. Responsibilities: Ability to analyze deeds, certificates of survey, subdivision plats, and other survey records Knowledge of the Public Land Survey System Knowledge of the BLM Manual Familiar with GLO field notes and plats Understanding of construction staking, cadastral, boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveying Organize field staking materials as necessary Competent with Survey Equipment, GPS, and Total Station Attention to detail, maintaining accurate data files and field notes Familiar with Trimble survey equipment and software Maintain productive working relationships with co-workers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required Qualifications: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble equipment and software is desired but not required. Experience in Land Surveying or Associates Degree in Land Surveying The ability to work in a team atmosphere or independently as directed Proficient in written documentation Willingness to travel and work outside. Valid driver’s license Some travel Some overtime Some overnight travel Physical Demands: Required to work in an outdoor environment including construction sites and in close proximity to traffic, noise, various weather conditions, dust, and dirt. Walk over uneven terrain of up to 1 mile. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment.
