SURVEY TECHNICIANDescription

The Gold Bar Mine is located 35 miles northwest of Eureka, Nevada. The property has seen historic mining from 1988 to 1994 by Atlas Precious Metals Inc. McEwen Mining Inc. acquired the property and began active exploration in 2011. The current mine consists of an Open Pit Mining Operation delivering Ore to a Crushed Heap Leach with solution being processed through an ADR Plant and Refinery.

Job Description

Provide high quality and accurate surveying services to the mine and its operations.

Operational / Technical Execution

• Develop and maintain team strategy for design compliance
• Conduct surveying across the site including heap lead pad weekly and monthly
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted
• Record and report on the results of survey activities
• Provide hole placement infield
• Monitor and report on drilling by Contractor
• Take infield samples and deliver to the Assay Lab
• Conduct end of month drone surveys
• Provide the Mine Engineer with operational and economic inputs, including topography and cost per ton as required
• Coordinate with Ore Control Geologists regarding ore control activities
• Perform pit inspections
  
  

Administration and Controls

• Take part in daily and weekly meetings weekly safety meeting, daily cross over meeting, daily line out meeting
• Carry out routine administration and reporting
• Laboratory: Delivery of samples for assay
• Contractor: Monitoring of drilling operations
• Ore Control Geologists: ore control activities
