Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant CCTV Operator to monitor and manage the operation of our surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our premises by effectively monitoring video feeds, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor live camera feeds and footage to ensure safety and security within the premises.
Conduct regular inspections of CCTV equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Respond promptly to security alerts, incidents, and alarms, and document events accurately.
Coordinate with security personnel and law enforcement when necessary.
Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and equipment status.
Review recorded footage to investigate incidents or provide evidence when required.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras and related equipment.
Ensure compliance with privacy laws and company policies regarding surveillance.
Provide training and support to staff on security protocols and equipment use.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or surveillance is a plus.
Proven experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar security role.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of local security regulations and laws.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
