FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: Responsible for all didactic, clinical instruction. Provides instruction supervision and timely assessments of the students progress in meeting program requirements. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience as a Surgical Technologist is required in both the scrub role or instructor in surgical technology. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Completion of an Associates Degree of an Accredited ST Training Program. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proficiency in the areas of curriculum design, program administration/evaluation, instruction and counseling, including proficient computer skills. Highly effective written and oral communication skills; high aptitude and precision in reading, writing and mathematics. Highly effective interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated leadership, supervisory and managerial skills. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Certification in Surgical Technology is required. BLS or other AHA approved certification is required within ninety (90) days of employment.
