Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Activities

What your background should look like:

  • Lead and manage the operation of manufacturing infrastructure, HVAC systems, Building Maintenance, Air Compressor, power distribution, and critical manufacturing facilities management.
  • Develop and execute advanced facility management programs to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and sustainability of all systems.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety policies across multiple departments.
  • Proactively optimize facility operations to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance production quality through data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams (including production, quality control, engineering, and maintenance) to ensure alignment with manufacturing and operational objectives.
  • Manage and mentor junior facility engineers, ensuring skills development and maintaining high team performance.
  • Oversee vendor management, negotiate contracts, and ensure that third-party services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of facility-related issues, ensuring quick resolution to maintain continuous production flow.
  • Ensure that all facility-related documentation, reports, and compliance records are accurate, up-to-date, and meet regulatory standards.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee facility upgrades, expansions, and new installations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Implement and champion energy management and sustainability initiatives, pushing for cost-saving opportunities and the integration of green technologies.
  • Lead safety audits and compliance inspections and drive the facility’s efforts toward best-in-class safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management in antenna, electronics, or cable assembly manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Maintenance, Air Compressor, power distribution, and critical manufacturing facilities management.
  • Proven track record in energy management, sustainability initiatives, and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to lead complex troubleshooting and resolution processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide teams to success.
