(Reference ID: 1242) The scope of duties and responsibilities will include the delivery of support and enhancements related to Procurement and External Manufacturing, which primarily spans across the SAP MM module and SAP SNC. Conduct analysis of business requirements, factoring in a strong understanding of the technical solution/architecture, and the underlying drivers of the business. Ensure high quality and cost efficient SAP application support, according to Service Level Agreements outlined in the Statements of Work agreed upon with the business. Act as Functional Owner for SAP SNC and SAP MM sub-functions including Purchasing, Procurement, and Subcontracting manufacturing. Lead design sessions by presenting logical statements of business requirements and designs. As a Level 3 SAP expert, reviewing and providing input based on best practices into functional and technical designs created by consultants. Act as a Team Lead for a team of external consultants located both onshore and offshore. Mentor junior staff and/or external consultants (Level 2 and 3.) Escalate functional, technical, project, and resource issues in a timely fashion. Manage and control the implementation of changes across multiple SAP clients, and ensure that these changes do not disrupt existing functionality in Production clients. Actively participate in Change Control Boards with the business users, and Business Unit IT representatives. Experience working in pharmaceutical industry would be a plus
