Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with suppliers and sourcing teams to define project scopes related to compressors and air piping infrastructure.
  • Work directly with vendors to review quotes, validate scope and pricing, and ensure alignment with internal engineering specifications.
  • Coordinate Bill of Materials (BOM) validation with internal engineering teams; ensure components make sense from both functional and sourcing perspectives.
  • Support the execution phase, including ensuring any required permits or process steps are addressed (no permitting expertise required, but an understanding of the steps is important).
  • Monitor and communicate with vendors on schedule adherence, supply continuity, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations and manage change requests or scope adjustments in real time.

  • Compressor and air piping background – familiarity with parts, terminology (e.g., joints, T-joints, valves), and systems integration.
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Experience working on project execution beyond basic quoting – involved in scope delivery and coordination.
  • Advanced Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data manipulation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Exposure to Coupa or other procurement software.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and contribute to problem-solving on the ground.
  • Strong communicator who takes a structured approach to solving problems and managing timelines.
