We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This versatile, hands-on position plays an essential role in overseeing and improving our supply chain operations to meet the evolving needs of engineering and production demands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic supply policies and procedures that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality throughout our operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent leadership skills, and comprehensive knowledge of logistics, procurement, inventory control, and distribution practices. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders-including suppliers, manufacturers, and internal engineering teams-to optimize supply chain performance and ensure the on-time delivery of products. Additionally, you will utilize data analytics to forecast demand, identify trends, and proactively mitigate potential risks within the supply network. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supply management, with a proven track record of successfully implementing process and operational improvements.
What you'll do:
* Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure advantageous terms.
* Oversee and optimize inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.
* Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
* Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain activities support overall business objectives.
What you'll bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
* A minimum 8 years of experience in procurement or supply management within a manufacturing or operational setting.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers.
* Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and procurement best practices
* Understanding of supply chain dynamics, inventory control, and optimal procurement strategies.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Arena, Agile, etc.)

The annual salary range for this full-time position in California is $110,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Please note that the compensation details listed above are base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
