Summary

Our client, a leading hearing care solutions provider in the Philippines, needs a Supply Chain Manager to join its team. The role will report to the General Manager and will lead a team of 3. Work location is in Ortigas, Mandaluyong.


The Supply Chain Manager, is responsible for overseeing activities related to a company’s products and services inventory, including placing orders, storing, packing, loading and delivering products to clinics and customers. Their primary duties include improving productivity and efficiency, reducing costs and securing high-quality materials for the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Product planning & forecasting for all inventories
  2. Receiving, Storing and Dispensing all inventories
  3. Delivery of Hearing Aids (HA), HA batteries, HA accessories, Equipment Consumables to clinics and direct customers.


KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

  1. Out of Stock
  2. Delivery complete & on time
  3. Inventory Accuracy (Head Office Central Warehouse only)
  4. Inventory Losses/Write Offs due to damages and obsolescence
  5. Supply Chain operating expenses versus budget


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic supply planning and forecasting system to manage and ensure availability of stocks to all revenue centers of company and ensure resource requirements are satisfied.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of stocks and consumables needed to meet the changing levels of product demand and sales target.
  • Works with clinic operations and accounting departments to determine and set up inter-clinic transfers and processes.
  • Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution of products to customers.
  • Facilitate regular monthly meetings with Sales, Marketing and Operations Department to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures
  • Works with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
  • Supports proper utilization of ERP business management system (Net Suite)
  • Communicates with executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation.
  • Lead supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon key measures


Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
  • Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM) is an advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing/supervising people
  • Previous experience as a supply chain professional in the healthcare or medical devices industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
