Supply Chain Director

Summary of the Role
This position is responsible for the BIB/SP Business Supply Chain Management of SIG North America and ensuring seamless integration within the AM-N SCM organization. Develop and implement supply chain strategies covering cross-company production, SIOP, imports, inventory management, customer service, and overall supply optimization. Manage the logistics flow ensuring that all processes are aligned and ready to supply the production lines, to ensure OTIF customer targets Ensure on-time, and in-full (OTIF) delivery aligned with demand planning.
Key responsibilities
* Manage the logistic flow ensuring all processes are aligned and ready to supply the production lines at the production plants.
* Ensure perpetual inventory and cycle count strategies are being utilized to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained across all AM-N locations.
* Ensuring "on-delivery in full" (OITF) to customer request dates while maintaining an appropriate level of inventory.
* Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring long-term customer relationships for SIG.
* Develops the SCM strategy in collaboration with SIG Global Operation and aligns it with the needs of each SIG production plant in the Spouted Pouch, Bag in Box, Fitments in the USA.
* Optimizes production plant supply chain using Lean JIT methodologies. Drives the implementation of customer Kanban systems where applicable to enhance supply chain efficiency.
* Supports the customer service department in the joint planning of production scheduling, import and delivery to customers' production sites; closely involved in the team's efforts to manage variability in long lead time management and delivery strategy with a focus on minimum stock item (MTO) production.
* Provides strategic and tactical direction and ensures lean operations to build a successful SCM team.
* Leads regional demand planning and SIOP process within the global SIOP process, ensures adequate representation in the global supply network, and works closely with the manufacturing plants to ensure adequate allocations and service levels when needed to ensure continuous supply to customers.
* They must be an energetic driver of change to improve service levels to global manufacturing facilities, revise operational processes and controls, ensure implementation of better data integration tools and drive the team to continuous improvements.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Oversee production planning, logistics, procurement, subcontractor relationships, supplier management, and regulatory compliance
* Develop and lead a high-performing supply chain team, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and driving continuous improvement in service levels and efficiency.
* Defines, maps and measures the cluster's supply chain through inbound importation, warehousing and outbound transportation to end customers.
* Act proactively and sustainably by seeking to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment and by committing to the company's environmental policy to ensure compliance with SIG standards.
* Work according to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice to ensure the production of safe packaging for customers and consumers and participate in all quality procedures under your responsibility to ensure compliance with SIG standards.
You bring these skills, experience & education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required (master's degree a plus)
* Minimum of 10 years of supply chain management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-site or regional operations. Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or related industries preferred.
* Basic Customs legislation, Tax legislation, Lean Management
* Advanced Negotiation skills
* SAP or ERP system proficiency required.
* Knowledge of Lean, JIT, and Kanban methodologies is a plus.
