Within the EMEA Supply Chain Team for Specialty Ingredients based in Amsterdam, an opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Coordinator. The Supply Chain Coordinator with closely with the Supply and S&OP Manager in managing the production flow from our production plants and 3rd party suppliers into our warehouses and to our customers. The Supply Chain Coordinator ensures to have the right stocks, at the right place, at the right time in order to fulfill our customer orders. Next to this, the Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing our planning tools, reporting, support continuous improvement initiatives and fulfill the administrative tasks following our planning and purchase to pay processes.

Responsibilities

  • The main duties of this role will include:
  • Determining production, shipping and/or rework quantities;
  • Entering, following up and coordinating purchase orders and production reports;
  • Coordination of transport;
  • Inventory booking and management including reducing slow moving and obsolete stock;
  • Managing planning and orders with logistic service providers, co-manufacturers, re-packers;
  • Master data support and managing the planning parameters in our planning tools;
  • Process and costs improvement;
  • Monthly reporting of figures on inventory, service and costs;
  • Support further improvements and implementations of planning systems and other tools;
  • Other administrative tasks following from planning and purchase-to-pay processes;
  • Ad hoc administrative, project management and team support activities.

Qualifications and experience:

  • HBO degree;
  • General supply chain planning and purchase-to-pay knowledge;
  • APICS qualification preferred;
  • Preferably 0-3 years of experience in a planning and/or supply chain related field;
  • Knowledge of export/import documentation;
  • Experience in Food/Agri-business industry preferred;
  • Broad experience of SAP/JDE or other ERP systems;
  • Skilled in Excel & PowerPoint;
  • Flexible and stress-resistant;
  • Customer focused;
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple, competing priorities;
  • Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills;
  • Focused on performance and results;
  • Fluent in English is a must. Fluent in Dutch is preferred.
