Dover Precision Components is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst. We design, manufacture, and deliver performance-critical solutions for rotating and reciprocating machinery across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical and general processing markets. What You’ll Do

In this role, you will manage corporate spending, provide analytical expertise, support project management activities, and maintain cross-functional and global relationships. This position works on global supply chain initiatives across different manufacturing plants and requires up to 25% overnight travel. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Act as corporate buyer for office supplies (RFQs, vendor onboarding, PO creation, submittal, confirmation and receipt, invoice matching and payment processing, record keeping & reporting).
  • Prepare analysis and reporting to assist in global (USA, UK, Mexico, and China) supply chain decision making through supply chain data collection, mining, analysis, and visualization.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards, trackers, templates, RFQ packages, and system parameters. Technologies include Syteline ERP, MS Excel, and Power BI.
  • Create supply chain documentation (memos, policies, procedures, manuals, standards of work).
  • Research and provide information regarding global supply chain (master data, market basket, vendor websites, commodity indexes, trade and product compliance regulations, ERP transactions).
  • Manage and maintain group data (agreements, project results, supplier communication).
  • Provide analysis and reporting for ad hoc projects and analyses related to Inventory Management, Spend Management, Supplier Management, Logistics, Trade & Product Compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with several cross-functional stakeholders on a global basis, including Buyers, Planners, Warehouse Supervisors, Material Handlers, Quality, Engineering, and Suppliers.
  • Travel to manufacturing plants and facilities primarily domestically with potentially limited international travel; overnight travel up to 25%.


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of Supply Chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Related experience could include Inventory Management, Planning and Scheduling, Procurement, Logistics, Trade & Product Compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in all MS Office applications; advanced word processing and database skills a plus. Power BI experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with vendors, and stakeholders, and ensure cost-efficient corporate purchasing while developing and growing relationships.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where working across plants and cross- functionally is a strength, bringing a “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to gather quantitative and qualitative information, analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, and recommend plans of action.
  • Problem-solving and systemic thinking skills: critical analytics/diagnosis/prioritization skills; anticipating customer needs. Drives for continuous improvement.
  • Strong local & global orientation: Understands the global business context in which local sites operate.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% overnight.
