The department ensure premium quality LEGO® products by defining and ensuring compliance of quality assurance processes, standards and guidelines to be followed at the sites, distribution channels and suppliers of core components

This is responsible to secure purchased materials for the manufacturing processes are with the right level of quality and in compliance with LEGO standards and requirements. Work to resolve any quality issues and provide guidance on process enhancements and improvements.


Core Responsibilities



  • Actively handling claims with supplier and follow up corrective actions including FSC discrepancies.
  • Performing supplier audits, identifying non-conformities and areas of potential risks in supplier processes and quality system
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions related to Claims and Finding from Audits
  • Supporting and developing suppliers in establishing improvement programs, verifying implementation of quality improvement programs at suppliers
  • Establishing and implementing incoming inspection procedures and internal NC material handling process
  • Gathering, analyzing, monitoring, measuring and reporting the performance data of suppliers
  • Close collaboration with other departments and suppliers
  • Build relevant department documentation
  • Close collaboration within Global SQM Team to achieve standardization
  • Escalate problems in a prompt manner

  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality or Supplier Quality.
  • At least 2 years of experience as ISO 9001 2015.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or similar
  • ISO 9001 2015 Lead auditor certification (preferable)
  • CORE Tools and Power BI as a plus
  • Problem solving knowledge, has worked with Lean and Six Sigma methodology and other quality tools. Green belt as a plus.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in communicating complex ideas in English.
  • Certain level of traveling mainly due global meetings, supplier visits and training.
