Help Duties The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO), Office the Deputy Director (DDO) is seeking a highly motivated professional Supervisory Management Analyst to join its team. The DDO oversees the federal Judiciary's internal controls programs and monitors accountability, review, and assessment activities to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of Judiciary programs, operations, and systems. The DDO also reports on audit, internal control, and accountability initiatives to the Judicial Conference Committee on Audits and Administrative Office Accountability. The Supervisory Management Analyst is responsible for leading a professional staff of analysts and specialists who support policy, internal control, and accountability functions for the AO and the federal Judiciary. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience analyzing and writing policy and management guidance, experience managing and presenting sensitive material, excellent communication skills, the ability to handle multiple and competing priorities, and an understanding of the Judiciary's organizational and governance structure. This position reports to the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Director. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: * Serving as staff to the Judicial Conference Committee on Audits and Administrative Office Accountability (AAOA Committee), including overseeing and reviewing AAOA Committee reports on audit; internal control; fraud, waste, and abuse investigations; corrective actions; risk management; and financial reporting. * Working with the Deputy Director, Office of the Judicial Council Secretariat, and program offices to clear agenda items for the AAOA Committee. * Leading staff responsible for conducting and tracking investigations into allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse; and staff who design and maintain internal control policies and systems for the AO and the Judiciary. * Supervising staff responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and maintaining Judiciary and AO policies; and staff who serve as the liaisons for studies of the Judiciary by outside entities, such as the Government Accountability Office. * Overseeing and tracking selected AO and Judiciary reporting requirements. * Planning, coordinating, and executing special projects, studies, and research covering AO management, organizational structure, and strategic initiatives. * Serving as the leader or member of study teams across the AO requiring in-depth administrative, operational, or legal research. * Communicating directly with the AO Director, Deputy Director, the AO's Executive Management Group, AO senior leaders, chief judges, and other Judiciary leaders.
