Under the general direction of the Manager TSC Production, the Supervisor Repair is responsible for managing customer service agreements as it pertains to turnaround time, warranty rate and unrepairable rate. Assisting managers to help direct technician workload and ensure they have adequate supplies, tools, and equipment are responsibilities of this role. This position will also serve as lead technician to test, troubleshoot and repair telecommunications systems for customer contracts as well as failed or damaged in-house equipment.

SHIFT HOURS: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm. Candidates must be flexible to train on 1st Shift for the first 2 wks.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
Train, direct, monitor, and generally oversee a team of telecommunications technicians who troubleshoot, repair, and process telecommunications equipment for customers
Coach and mentor to elevate team member performance and provide feedback and additional training as needed
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
Oversee board-level and multi-layer board repair of telecommunications power supplies and rectifiers
Manage workflows by assigning/delegating tasks/responsibilities to team of technicians.
Establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to the Repair Team
Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
Understand and implement department’s established production metrics
Develop new repair capabilities/processes as needed and approved
Perform other duties / tasks as assigned by management
KEY COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Proficiency of Acquired Skills, Aptitude, Capability
Relevant knowledge of telecommunications power supplies and rectifiers
Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in similar role a plus
Four-year technical degree or vendor certification is a major plus.
Experienced in repair lab equipment and techniques.
Proficiency with O365 Suite highly preferred
