*Responsibilities*

The Behavioral Health Supervisor is expected to provide effective leadership in order to maximize the effectiveness of service delivery systems, engage staff and cultivate a care center culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care consistent with Dignity Health's "way" and culture. In addition, this position provides individual and group clinical supervision to licensed clinicians, associates, and Masters level students in the Behavioral Health department. The duties will also include Quality Care oversight and education and training needs associated with the supervision of clinicians and program services counselors. Some travel between clinical care centers may be required.

*Qualifications*

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters degree in an appropriate behavioral science discipline.
  • Current unrestricted license in the State of California as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Meet the requirements of the California Board of Behavioral Science for approved clinical supervision including the maintenance of coursework for supervision.
  • A minimum of two years post-licensure experience.
  • DSM 5. Cultural and ethnic diversities of clients. Community resources. Treatment interventions. Normal and abnormal psychology. Assessment skills and crisis intervention. Treatment planning and intervention skills. Ethical and legal issues. Billing and documentation requirements. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Adhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standards. Manage significant electronic paperwork functions. Ability to resolve conflict and cope with crisis situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred.

$42.69 - $61.91 /hour
