Job Title: Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a qualified and ambitious superintendent to manage local projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in taking buildings out of the ground, with industrial ground-up experience being a plus. This role involves handling RFI's, change orders, reading and interpreting civil drawings, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring site compliance. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure progress. Responsibilities * Manage and oversee local construction projects. * Take buildings out of the ground with a focus on industrial ground-up projects. * Handle RFI's and change orders efficiently. * Read and interpret civil drawings to guide project development. * Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely project completion. * Prepare and review 2-week lookaheads for project planning. * Ensure that the site is compliant with all relevant regulations. * Collaborate with the Project Manager to track progress and resolve any issues. Essential Skills * Experience in construction management, ground-up, and commercial/industrial construction. * Strong background in sitework and concrete. * Ability to read and interpret civil drawings. * Experience managing projects with an average size of $15-20 million. * Proficiency in Procore. Additional Skills & Qualifications * A degree in construction management or engineering is preferred. * OSHA certification. Work Environment The position is based on-site five days a week, with the potential for remote work arrangements if there is nothing to do on-site. The company offers flexible working conditions.
