SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM – PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Location: Onsite – Dallas, TX

Duration: 8 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6 hours/day

Pay: $12/hour

Start Date: June 2, 2025


Are you passionate about working with youth and sharing your skills?

Join our Dallas-based summer enrichment program as a part-time instructor!

We’re hiring energetic and knowledgeable individuals to lead hands-on sessions in Robotics/Coding, Culinary Arts, and Tech/Graphic Design.

Each position plays a key role in inspiring and educating students in fun, interactive learning environments. Apply individually for the desired position (please make note of position applying for)


1. Robotics & Coding Instructor (Part-Time) (training provided)

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students the basics of robotics and coding using age-appropriate platforms (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, Scratch, Python).
  • Guide participants through structured projects and challenges.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in robotics, computer science, or STEM education.
  • Passion for youth development and technology.

 

2. Culinary Arts Instructor (Part-Time) (training provided)

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students kitchen safety, cooking techniques, and simple recipes.
  • Incorporate lessons on nutrition, teamwork, and food presentation.
  • Supervise hands-on cooking sessions.
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in culinary arts, nutrition, or food education.
  • Experience working with youth or in community programs.


3. Tech & Graphic Design Instructor (Part-Time) (training provided)

Responsibilities:

  • Teach basic digital design using programs like Canva, Adobe, or other creative tools.
  • Introduce students to tech concepts such as digital storytelling, photo editing, or website design.
  • Oversee digital projects from start to completion.
  • Foster digital literacy and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in graphic design, digital media, or tech instruction.
  • Strong portfolio and passion for mentoring youth.
