Are you ready for a dynamic summer experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your technical skills, collaborate with diverse teams, and make a meaningful impact on our global sourcing initiatives?

Now we are looking for a Summer Intern (June-August) in the Global Raw Materials Team.

Global Raw Materials team ensures Target’s supply chain delivers aesthetic and quality products through raw material management, the Bill of Materials management, technical product guidance and responsible sourcing guidelines for Target’s owned brand products.

Your typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Interpretation:

• Analyze business data using Python and machine learning techniques.
• Identify key patterns, trends, and anomalies within the data.
• Interpret findings to uncover meaningful insights relevant to business objectives.

Insight Generation & Reporting:

• Translate data analysis results into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
• Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.

Technical Proficiency:

• Apply machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Maintain and improve data analysis pipelines.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with Global Raw Materials team members to understand business needs and data requirements.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.

What You Will Learn:

• Gain insights into global sourcing strategy & operations and supply chain management.
• Get Hands-On Project Management experience.
• Benefit from one-on-one mentoring and feedback sessions with leaders and subject matter experts for personal and professional growth.
• Expand network and build relationships that last beyond the summer.

Desired Skills:

• Utilize Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in creating visualizations (e.g., using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or other tools) to effectively communicate data insights.
• Web scraping with python selenium and beautifulsoup
• Candidate with supply chain experience is preferred
