The primary responsibilities of the Web/Application Developer are as follows: * Work with the product owner to understand the requirements and scope of the project * Write frontend and backend Javascript code that implements the functionality requested by the client * Work in a collaborative setting with developers and professors to discover solutions to unique problems * Research documentation and implement 3rd party libraries * Apply programming fundamentals to current projects * Assist Supervisor or CLC Director as needed * You will learn to create Online Learning Modules for the Computer Literacy Center * Creating digital projects (Online Learning Modules) as assigned. Required Qualifications Web Development Experience * Familiarity with programming (especially in Javascript) * Familiarity with HTML and CSS * Familiarity with Javascript Object Notation (JSON) * Strong interpersonal skills both with clients, co-workers, and supervisors * Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, or WordPress Potential candidates must have good communication and customer service skills through work or volunteer experiences.
