Persons employed for temporary employment are not eligible to participate in the College's Health and Welfare plan or option fringe benefit plan in conjunction with their employment. Human Resources will track the eligibility requirements under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Should a person meet the eligibility requirements, Human Resources will initiate an open enrollment period to enroll an ACA designated medical plan.
Current Work Schedule (days, hours)

Overview
Under the support of the Basic Needs Resources Program Specialist, the SRN Lead will provide support to the Student Resource Navigator Service. On a temporary basis provides services in support of student services programs, divisions, and departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Peer-to-Peer Navigation Support:
a. Providing navigation support: a collaborative process which involves
Identifying, planning, accessing, advocating for students' basic needs resources, supports, and services
b. Providing highly individualized recommendations for services and supports, that are particular to each student's circumstances
c. Guiding students through complex application processes for public benefits
d. Helping students navigate different departments and programs on campus and in the surrounding community
2. Student Resource Navigator Support:
a. Staying up to date with Basic Needs program updates, policies and procedures.
b. Checking in with Navigators daily to assess for any support they may need including case conferencing, EAB Navigate Support, general questions or concerns.
c. Providing guidance with solving support
d. Creating email templates for navigators to use
3. Quality Control:
a. Proficiency in navigating the EAB Navigate Campus Program
b. Reviewing navigator appointment summaries and alerts for accuracy
c. Keeping track of navigator open cases and ensure they are closing cases in a timely manner
d. Review intake forms and send to appropriate navigator for their appointments
e. Address urgent student needs when appropriate
f. Ensuring navigators are keeping the workspaces clean and organized
4. Resource Management
a. Distributing vouchers to students, both physical and e-vouchers
b. Tracking voucher distribution in excel
c. Keeping track of voucher availability and notifying Program Specialist when running low
d. Continuously updating community resources list
e. Processing applications/referrals to community partnerships when appropriate

The person holding this position is required to be present on Mt. San Antonio College's campus to perform all essential duties and responsibilities.
