* JOB PURPOSE
Help the remote CS Lab Manager with on-campus support to keep both CS teaching labs up and running
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Morning person with no other obligations to arrive every weekday at least half an hour before the first class scheduled on that day.
* Check that all the computers, overhead projector systems, and printers in both labs are up and running; verify that a student can log into all machines and connect to the Internet.
* Make small repairs such as powering on a computer, replace a keyboard or mouse, reconnect a loose power cable, etc.
* If immediate assistance is needed on hardware-related issues, call the IT Server Desk and provide updates to the Lab Manager.
* Report any and all issues to the Lab Manager immediately so that they can get logged or escalated as needed.
* Coordinate with the Lab Manager to provide on-campus real-time support throughout the day while the Lab Manager troubleshoots issues remotely.
* Occasionally bring fresh reams of printer paper or other supplies from the Math Department office to the labs.
