Student Analyst Job Description:
The overriding goal of PBS Corp Services is to enhance the autonomy and quality of life of individuals, and others who support them. Each PBS Corp client has a behavior support plan and it is the responsibility of the student analyst to work with caregivers, and/or staff, to put in place strategies within this plan and achieve the desired outcomes.

Student Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients’ behaviors
- Teaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectively
- Facilitate consistent implementation of the behavior plan, and monitor outcomes.
- Implementing behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
- Data collection as prescribed by a recipient’s behavior analysis service plan
- Communicate openly with behavior analysts and regional coordinator
- Collaborate with caregivers and other service providers to enhance and integrate intervention (e.g., within IEPs, ISPs, support plans), communicating verbally and in writing and attending meetings as needed.
- Assist in completing assessments, developing written reports, updates, and graphing data within designated timelines, following the PBS Corp. protocol checklist and using the behavior plan template as designed.
- Upload behavior plans, plan updates, support plans (if applicable), monthly graphs with current data, and all other client documentation required by funding sources and PBS Corp. on the online system in accordance with required timeframes determined by pay sources.
- Review and approve or reject notes as applicable for all services provided by behavior assistants working under student analysts on assigned cases.
- Attend ongoing mentor meetings each month with Regional Clinical Training Coordinator.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the Regional Clinical Training Coordinator to learn/improve needed skills to practice efficiently as a behavior analyst.
Student Analyst Qualifications:
- In a BACB approved BCBA/BCaBA program (degree or certificate)
- A high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving
- Completion of all training requirements outlined in the New Employee Checklist (provided by PBS)
Student Analyst Requirements:
- Has Registered Behavior Analysis Interventionist (RBAI) or willingness to obtain the state license within 30 days of hire
- Proven ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Experience in working with individuals on the autism spectrum, or other developmental disabilities
- Clear level-two background check
