ASRC Fedeal is seeking a Structures CAD design specialist on site in Huntsville, AL at Marshall Space Flight Center. This role is 100% on site. The objective of the Mars Sample Return (MSR) program is to collect Martian samples and return them to Earth for scientific research. As a subset of the MSR mission, the objective of the Mars Ascent Vehicle (MAV) is to deliver the samples from the Martian surface to Mars orbit where they will be collected by a separate Earth-return spacecraft Key Role: Develop structures FEMs and perform FEM Static analysis of MAVIS Structure Provide insight to design team on structural changes based on analysis results Provide support to structures team TTR/PDR products, DRDs, IPT meetings, and other meeting and documentation support as needed Support development and delivery of contract deliverables related to the design subsystems structure while using CAD tools. Requirements: 5+ years in structures design and CAD tool usage Experience developing structures and providing analysis Previous experience supporting NASA programs a plus but not required
