Nitsch Engineering is looking for a Structural Project Manager to join our team in one of our three Massachusetts offices in Boston, Lawrence, or Worcester!
Responsibilities
Review projects for compliance with company policies and standards
Confer with the client and obtain timely decisions and approvals to ensure projects flows smoothly
Perform technical quality control reviews
Develop new business
Prepare proposals and budgets
Supervise Structural Engineers and Designers
Perform structural analysis and prepare preliminary and final designs
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts or ability to obtain MA PE within one year if licensed in another state
10+ years within structural design, recent experience as a Project Manager, preferred
Thorough familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural software such as STAAD, AASHTOWare bridge rating, and Bentley’s Bridge Design
Familiarity with building design codes and MassDOT’s bridge design policies and guidelines
