YAS is actively seeking a full-time Structural Engineer at our New York City office. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can perform analysis and design of complex structures including high-rise structures under wind and seismic loading conditions.

Responsibilities

• Development of structural design, details and drawings, including calculations for new structures and renovation projects
• Prepare drawings in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Perform structural analysis using software such as STAAD.Pro, RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAP2000
• Field inspection of structural systems of buildings
• Coordinating with various engineering disciplines as well as with architects
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering (Master's preferred)
• 7+ years experience in analysis and the design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures
• Professional Engineer license required
• Proficient with engineering software: Bentley Software, RAM, ETABS, PCA Slab, Revit, AutoCad etc.
