Job Description

ML Structural is currently seeking a full time Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, hardworking, and works well independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full building design and analysis in a variety of different structural materials: masonry, steel wood, concrete, etc.
• Prepare design drawings, calculations, details, and specifications.
• Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, respond to RFI's, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.
• Collaborate with architects, designers and building contractors on design and construction of building projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
• Ability to work on-site in Palatine, IL
• Proficient in Revit
• Proficient in design software such as RISA, TEDDS, ADAPT, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
