Job Title: Structural Engineer
Job Description
We are looking to add a Structural Engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in the structural engineering industry and be proficient in using Revit. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to complete various projects, primarily focusing on multi-family and living buildings. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position, taking the lead on projects within a year.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to complete projects.
+ Work on a variety of projects, with a focus on multi-family and living buildings.
+ Utilize Revit and other design software to create structural designs and analyses.
+ Perform structural analysis and design for wood and concrete structures.
+ Draft structural plans and details using AutoCAD.
+ Run point on projects, managing project timelines and deliverables.
+ Communicate effectively with the team to ensure project success.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license.
+ 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and analysis.
+ 4+ years of experience with Revit.
+ Proficiency in structural analysis, design, wood, concrete, and drafting.
+ Experience with AutoCAD and E.I.T. certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
Work Environment
The work environment is business casual with flexible work schedules. Core hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, but employees can adjust their start times as long as they communicate with the team and complete their work. Project teams typically include a Project Manager, a PE, one or two EITs, and one or two designers. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
