Full job description

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from the proposal phase to construction administration. You will get tutelage and mentorship from a PE.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates
  • Perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and building contractors on the design and construction of projects - commercial, institutional, and retail


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • EIT licensure preferred
  • REVIT and Autocad experience
  • Enercalc
  • RAM structural products experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the design of steel, light gauge, reinforced concrete and masonry
  • Experience with applicable industry standard codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, AISI)



Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
