Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer / Forensic Civil. The position is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural assessments, performing forensic investigations of building damage and failures, and preparing detailed technical reports under direct supervision of Senior Engineer or the Registered Roof Consuktant. The role also involves designing and analyzing structural components, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Additional day-to-day tasks include providing technical support during construction, participating in site inspections, and developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Structural assessments and Forensic investigations
• Experience in preparing technical reports and design analysis
• Proficiency in using structural engineering software and tools
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to various site locations as needed
