We're seeking a full-time structural engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to the design and management of projects in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. The Structural Engineer will
Lead the structural engineering design for projects in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and bioindustry sectors.
Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process) to ensure integrated project delivery.
Perform detailed structural analysis and design for a variety of structures, including buildings, equipment supports, and foundations.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI), industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure all engineering work adheres to the company's quality standards and follows project-specific requirements.
Conduct structural inspections and assessments, recommending corrective actions if necessary.
Review submittals, shop drawings, and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE)
Minimum 8-10 years of structural engineering experience, with a focus on agrifood, bioindustrial and pharmaceutical industry.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5-10% travel expected for this position.
